In W3Schools I learned exactly what HTML is and capabilities. I learned the necessities of HTML such as syntax, tags, and formatting. I was provided definitions and syntax for every HTML properties. In CSS, I also was provided in-depth definitions and coding for the many properties CSS has to offer. Properties such as colors, backgrounds, boxes, padding, alignments, margins etc. Bootstrap was new to me but luckily it still involved with HTML and CSS so I was not as worried. I learned that Bootsrap is used to code mobile version websites. It uses HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Bootstrap provides many templates such as tables, buttons, forms, navigation, searchbars, etc. It is commonly used because Bootstrap is very responsive websites to mobile devices. Meaning depending on the mobile device size the website will cater to that size making the view pleasant no matter the size of the device.
