Overview
We finished off the semester learning Javascript, another highly used scripting language that can be embedded with HTMl, CSS, and PHP. By no means is Javascript similar to Oracle's Java Object-Oriented Programming. After learning various programming languages throughout the semester and having some experience writing in C++ and Java OOP, Javascript was not all that hard to grasp. The way I approached to learning Javascript was almost the same as HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL. I relied heavily on Codecademy and W3Schools to school me up on the language. Codecademy did an awesome job going step by step and explaining the various functions and tools Javascript has to offer in a very simplistic way.
Unfortunately, this module did not contain that many exercises to truly test my knowledge on Javascript. Although, if given the chance, I can definitely see myself working well with Javascript. For my Artifact, I have chosen the Codecademy page where I incorporated a brief introduction and numerous pictures that show the various topics covered in Codecademy. The reason why I chose Codecademy because I give all my credit to learning any programming language to Codecademy. They have a unique way of teaching young coders that makes it easy to understand and remember. So that is why I am dedicating my Learning Artifact number 4 to Codecademy.
